Ned (Ben Hall) may be a killer, but he still has his conscience – and he’s about to come clean in Neighbors

Although it’s not like he has much of a choice, as more evidence is piling up against him

A new batch of incriminating evidence helps prove he made his way back to Erinsborough which would have led him right past the exact spot where Scarlett’s clothes washed on the beach There is little argument against this – his own phone betrays him The future looks bleak and Ned begins to move away from his loved ones as it all mounts on him

But it makes him sound even more guilty and Levi (Richie Morris) starts to think he’s hiding something else Bea (Bonnie Anderson) is the only one fighting Ned’s corner and she begs Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) to see the truth in her boyfriend’s eyes Ned is not a killer

Or is it? Although Bea is determined to help Ned, he realizes that he is beyond help and he turns to Paul Robinson, ready to confess his crime

It’s a little late as at this point Yashvi realizes that Bea is right about Ned and is ready to fight for him, pointing out inconsistencies in the evidence Detective Graves is impressed with his work , but when he realizes her emotional connection, he gets her out of the case faster than she can tell Scarlett is a psychopath.

Ned confesses to Paul (Stefan Dennis) that the vivid daydreams he had are more like memories His mind gathers the details of his gruesome murder He is convinced that he really hurt Scarlett and that he needs help, so Paul discreetly sets up a memory booster session for him with Beverley And this confirms to Ned that he really is guilty of murder

But cleverly he keeps this evil fact from Paul and Beverley, knowing that she should point it out if he confesses anything during their session He buys himself time, but ultimately realizes he needs to transform He says to Terese and Paul what he is ready to do – he is ready to confess to having killed Scarlett
