Boris Johnson’s father has once again been pictured flouting mask rules – by not wearing his face properly in a subway station

Stanley Johnson was pictured this morning wearing a mask while waiting for a train – but he didn’t cover his nose

This comes less than a week after he was forced to apologize for not covering his face in a west London newsagent – despite his son’s warning that those who don’t do not incur heavy fines

The Prime Minister’s father – a former Tory MEP – was seen today on a Bakerloo Line platform with his face lowered

Although the photo was taken at an outdoor station and there doesn’t appear to be anyone within two meters of him, the rules say he could still face a £ 200 fine

According to Transport for London, masks must be worn « for the duration of journeys on the public transport network » and must cover the face and nose

He was also pictured with his mask on at an airport in Athens, Greece just over a week ago – and then called on people to play by the rules

He did however post a photo of himself on Instagram showing him properly sporting a mask once he got on the train

M Johnson shared a photo of himself alongside Work and Pensions Secretary Therese Coffey and MP John Penrose, writing: « Masks firmly in place on the Jubilee Line with @theresecoffey and @JohnPenroseNews after the #CPF session at the  » virtual  » Conservative Party Conference «

Last week M Johnson Sr. said he was « extremely sorry » for breaking the Prime Minister’s rules

He told the Mirror: « I might not have been 100% up to speed, but it was my first day back in England after three weeks not in England

« So maybe they (the rules) have changed during this time I’m not really a big trader

« I am extremely sorry for this mistake and urge absolutely everyone to do everything in their power to ensure that they follow the rules regarding masks and social distancing

« The fact that this is my first day back in the UK after three weeks abroad is, I’m sure, no excuse for not knowing the rules »

Asked by the Mirror during the televised press conference what his message was for people not wearing masks in stores, Boris Johnson urged the public to comply, adding: “Keep in mind that fines are now very significant and will be imposed »

In July, M Johnson Sr. flew to Greece, saying he needed to ‘prove’ his vacation home
