The Guys ‘n’ Dolls star is said to have died suddenly of an aortic aneurysm in the abdomen, leaving his wife Julie Forsyth « shattered ».

“He was gentle, strong, and enduring the life and soul of the party. His distinctive and beautiful voice will last forever – I would never have loved him more and not quite know what our family would do without him. . . It was our bright star.
Along with his wife Julie – daughter of Sir Bruce Forsyth – Grant was part of the pop group Guys ‘n’ Dolls, which had a hit in the 1970s.
