Severe thunderstorms hit the Tulsa area early Wednesday afternoon, including a storm system with a tornado warning in Creek County.
The issue appears near Kellyville and a tornado warning lasts until 2pm: 00 o’clock. Wednesday for Creek County. The storm is moving northeast at around 15-20 miles per hour, reaching Sapulpa around 2:24 p.m., Oakhurst and Prattville around 2:34 p.m., Wekima, Berryhill, Tulsa Hills and Sand Springs around 2:39 p.m. and then reach Pogue Airport and Shell Lake at around 2:45 p.m.
A tornado warning was issued in Rogers and Wagoner Counties until 2:45 p.m. The cell is moving north and the areas see strong winds and rain.
