Elon Phoenix and Hofstra Pride meet on Monday in college basketball at the Atlantic Union Bank Center.

Elon started the year well with a three-game winning streak, but then lost eight games in a row amid a handful of rejections and shifts. Since then, however, the Phoenix have won six straight, defeating James Madison on Sunday.
In the tournament victory against James Madison on Sunday, Elon scored a 72-71 win in a hard-fought comeback triumph. Hunter McIntosh led the team with 24 points, nine rebounds and one assist.
Over on the Hofstra side they were sitting on January 15th at 6: 6am and had just lost three games. The Pride won six of the next seven and then lost twice to JMU before beating Delaware in the tournament on Sunday.
In the 83-75 win against the Hens on Sunday, Jstra Ray von Hofstra scored 34 points with five rebounds and two assists. Isaac Kante also doubled in this with 14 points, 13 rebounds and one assist.
Hofstra has ATS 6: 0 in the last six games with neutral location and ATS 4: 0 in the last four games on Monday. The over is 7-1 in the last eight games of Pride and the under is 4-1 in the last five neutral games.
Meanwhile, the Phoenix are 4-0 in their last four neutral games ATS and in their last five games after an ATS win 5-0 ATS. Elon is 4-0 ATS in the last four Monday games and 6-0 ATS in the last six games overall.
PICK: I’ll stick with Elon on this one, but it’s close. You could make a good argument here for both teams. Hofstra scored well for most of the season but sometimes they can get into trouble against good offensive teams. Elon has taken a dramatic win and has seven games behind him. This should be a high-flying and tight game, but I like it when the phoenix keeps it going.
