For a man known to follow a strict diet of mostly grilled chicken and broccoli, it will be a challenge for Dustin Johnson to create a Masters menu that can take numerous generations and represent what the moment means.
Johnson said he was thinking about what to serve at the Champions Dinner in April at Augusta National, but he hasn’t decided on the menu yet.
« I don’t know. For the moment everything is across the board, « Johnson said at the Sentry Tournament of Champions on Wednesday.
The start of the year in Maui is Johnson’s first start since winning the Masters tournament in November and he said he hasn’t had much time over thinking about a win he’d dreamed of all his life, unlike all those times when he imagined winning the Masters as a junior in Columbia, SC, the reality was so much better.
« I definitely dreamed of winning the Masters and it wasn’t even close, « he said. “You dream of winning it and what it will be like, but until you actually do and experience it, I don’t think the dream has come close to feeling and satisfaction and everything that comes with it. It was definitely more special than I dreamed. “
