Delhi Capitals today announced the JSW Group as the team’s main sponsor for the years 2021– Known in 2023. Through this association, the JSW insignia will be affixed to the front of the team’s jersey and complemented by the in-stadia branding of the diverse JSW product portfolio during the tournament. The JSW Group first stepped on board as the team’s main sponsor in 2020.

Kiran Kumar Grandhi, Chairman of the & co-owner of Delhi Capitals, said of the association: “I am very pleased that we are joining our association with the JSW- Deepen the group further. We share the same ethos and philosophy, and that makes our franchise one of the most impressive brands in the IPL. I am confident that this club will be fruitful for our team. “

Since its inception over 13 years ago, the IPL has made a name for itself around the world and has gone far beyond an Indian cricket fan base that is reflected in its stronghold as one of the five most valued sports leagues in the world. An association within this ecosystem ensures maximum visibility for a trustworthy and globally respected brand like the JSW Group. Specifically with the addition of consumer brands like JSW Paints, JSW Cement and JSW Neosteel & JSW Colouron to its rapidly growing range of products.

The Delhi Capitals brand has been rated as one of the top two IPL brands in the country by several brand evaluation agencies, which is what they makes the perfect canvas for the JSW identity. Both brands are united in their pursuit of excellence and share a clear vision focused on constantly striving for new heights and being “Better Everyday”. With a minimum commitment of three years, the JSW Group continues to increase its brand value by strengthening sports real estate in India and acting as a partner. With associations such as the main sponsor of their soccer club, Bengaluru FC, the establishment of one of the most respected Olympic training institutes in Asia, the Inspire Institute of Sport and the support of a portfolio of over 50 Olympic sports athletes, including the wrestling world champion Bajrang Punia Junior Speer -World champion Neeraj Chopra and Olympic champion Sakshi Malik.

Parth Jindal, co-owner of Delhi Capitals and managing director of JSW Cement and Paints, founder of the Inspire Institute of Sport and director of JSW Sport, said of the three-year association: “IPL continues to attract the world the best talent in the sport, making it a globally respected and emerging brand, attracting a number of national brands with global recall value. While the league sponsorships consisted of a number of new age tech companies, they were complemented by established national brands like us. This diverse combination of brands is proof of how the IPL, as a single platform, offers the best access to a very diverse population. This is a unique offering that no other platform of Indian origin can match. Commenting on adding value as the team’s main sponsor in 2020, Parth Jindal said: “Cricket and cricketers are part of the Indian DNA. And as the main sponsors of the capital cities of Delhi, we can add this talented cricket roster to our JSW family. A community of over 67,000 employees and a network of over 10 lakh dealers and retailers. Our experience over the past year has been that &, the roots for Delhi Capitals, united this JSW family and at the same time brought joy to humanity in a difficult time. This ability to refer to some of the world’s best cricket talent as families also gives everyone within the JSW group a great sense of pride and achievement. «

Vinod Bisht, Interim CEO of &, Delhi Capitals, said about the development: » We are a young team that has grown remarkably over the past few years. I am confident that this association will be successful and help both brands, Delhi Capitals and JSW, grow tremendously. «

Jayant Acharya, Director – Commercial, Marketing and Corporate Strategy, JSW Steel, commented on JSW’s partnership with the team: » The IPL and the IPL brand have weathered the pandemic storm and successfully built brand value is continued. At the end of the IPL in 2020, the JSW Group had reached more than 125 million of our target groups through our advertising mix for TV and digital, which was a strong argument for expanding this association. We have also seen strong growth in our brand awareness that our association has been slow to drive. “

The $ 12 billion JSW Group is co-owner of the Delhi franchise Delhi Capital and was also the team’s main sponsor at the 2020 IPL edition.
