Kate Middleton and Prince William today recognized the Burns Night celebrations in Scotland with a new message to the frontline staff at the NHS Tayside in Dundee, Scotland. Burns Night is an annual holiday that celebrates the work and life of poet Robert Burns.
In honor of the event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a video on social media today about the Discussed the holidays and thanked the health community.
For the video, Middleton paid tribute to Scotland’s heritage in a puffed-sleeved tartan skirt, a contrasting white collar and cuffs, and a belted skirt, both by Emilia Wickstead. Tartan is a historical cloth for the country, dating back centuries as part of traditional highland clothing. The Duchess completed the look with a set of gold pearl earrings.
