The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, won the Lotto Plus 2 Grand Prize at Quick Pick in the raffle on Wednesday February 24th.
She says she didn’t realize she was lucky until she checked her phone. « I saw that I had a notification from the National Lottery so I assumed it was going to be a win of € 5 or € 9. I sat down to watch Coronation Street and I just thought that I would would check it quickly, but when I logged in I couldn’t see any € 5 or € 9 winnings on my account. It wasn’t until I looked at my online lotto ticket that I realized how much I had actually won! I was totally shocked when I saw 250,000 euros – it still doesn’t seem real, to be honest. «
She is now planning what to do to celebrate: » Taking care of my family and paying bills are coming up first on the list but can’t wait to go on vacation when things get back to normal – really looking forward to being able to relax on the beach in the sun, I know it will probably take a while until I can do that, but let’s hope d ass it will be soon! «
