The Los Angeles Lakers wrestled without their two superstars, but LeBron James wants people to know that help is on the way.
James has been incapacitated since his sprain against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20th. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis has been out of action with leg problems since Valentine’s Day.
It is currently unclear when both will be back, but LeBron had a message for the rest of the NBA this afternoon. He posted a photo of himself and Davis on Instagram and promised « a thunderstorm is coming ». « The weatherman says the weather is changing soon and he predicts a thunderstorm is coming, » wrote James. « People are preparing and taking the right precautions to be safe. »
Without a doubt, the Lakers need both James and Davis back on the line-up. They have no chance of defending their title without both of them being healthy.
Currently, the Lakers are 32-19 overall and fifth in the Western Conference playoffs. Not ideal, but not disastrous either, as long as they get their big guns back.
