Actress Lynda Carter hit social media on Wednesday to pay tribute to her late husband, Robert Altman. The death of the 73-year-old gaming CEO was announced last week by his company ZeniMax Media.
« My beloved husband Robert A. Altman passed away a week ago, » began the star « Wonder Woman ». “Robert is the love of my life and always will be. Our 37 year marriage has been an extraordinary gift. We shared the passion that I hope everyone is lucky enough to experience in their life. We protected each other and were always each other’s champions. «
She continued: » We have always been grateful for the two beautiful lives we created together: our children Jessica and James. They are the lights of my life and were Robert’s greatest joy. I see so much of Robert in them and I know that he lives on through them. ”
Carter continued to thank her fans for their condolences before closing the heartfelt message with a message addressed directly to her lover.
« To Robert: You are the most honorable person I have ever gotten to know. And I have to be your wife and the mother of your children. Thank you for giving me all the love in my life.
» Nothing could prepare our family for this moment, but we will do our best to pursue our dreams and honor the legacy you left behind. I will love you always and forever. «
