Founding member of Fleetwood Mac says some of the 1970s are now empty for him.
Rock legend Mick Fleetwood claims he couldn’t remember two years of his life because of his taste for cocaine at the time. </ The drummer and founding member of Fleetwood Mac announced that there was a long time after he made his classic 1977 album Rumors that he can't remember what he did.
» There is no doubt that we were well armed with the Marsh Powder, « Fleetwood told Classic Rock magazine. « I was definitely the party animal in the band. I would say Stevie [Nicks] was barely a second. »
He continued, « This is a worn-out fairy tale that becomes more like a war story, that grows bigger and bigger will.
« But these weren’t people who crawled across the floor with green foam from their mouths. We worked, you know? « It took a long time, Stevie Nicks brought it up, so I’m not going to reveal anything she didn’t talk about.
» It got out of hand after rumors started. I remember not working for two years. I can’t even remember what I did. «
Stevie Nicks previously claimed, » We were all drug addicts, but there was a point where I was the worst drug addict.
« I was a girl, I was fragile and I made a lot of Coke. And I had this hole in my nose. So it was dangerous. »
