Myanmar’s ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi appeared to be in good health despite two months in detention by the military, her legal team said on Wednesday.
Min Min Soe, a member of Aung San Suu Kyi’s legal team, said « She looks healthy, her skin color is good ».
Min Min Soe was called to a video meeting with her at a police station in the capital Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday, before a hearing for the 75-year-old the next day Deposed leader took place.
Suu Kyi is now charged with, among other things, illegally possessing radio equipment during the election campaign and violating the COVID-19 restriction rules.
In a statement released by her legal team, Suu Kyi stated, that during the meeting, police officers stayed by the lawyer’s side and the guards monitored them at their end.
