World news – NBA round-up: Raptors upgrade 76 for fourth straight win

TAMPA, Fla. – Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet each had 23 points and the Toronto Raptors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 110-103 for their fourth straight win on Sunday night.

Chris Boucher scored 11 of his 17 points for Toronto in the fourth quarter and hit three 3-point points as the Raptors opened the quarter on a 15-8 run to finally take the lead.

Joel Embiid, who on Friday night completed a 50-point game against Chicago, had 25 points and 17 rebounds for the 76ers who lost their fourth street game in a row. Embiid only made six of 20 shots from the field, and the Sixers went 5 for 21 in the fourth quarter.

NETS 112, CLIPPERS 108: James Harden scored 37 points and Brooklyn held a furious rally in the fourth quarter to Los Angeles for his best sixth straight win of the season.

The Nets finished a 5-0 trip, defeating Golden State, Sacramento, Phoenix and both teams in Los Angeles to complete their longest unbeaten road trip in franchise history . All but two wins were in double digits. They have now defeated Western teams eight times in a row.

Harden just missed a triple-double and ended up with 11 rebounds and seven assists. Kyrie Irving added 28 points and eight assists.

Paul George led the Clippers with 34 points. Kawhi Leonard had 29 points in the 9-of-19 shootout.

KNICKS 103, TIMBERWOLVES 99: Julius Randle had 25 points and 14 rebounds and helped New York recover after gaining a 21-point lead over Minnesota lost.

Randle took the free-throw 32 seconds ahead and the Knicks held onto a game they seemed to have under control as they led 86-65 at the end of the third quarter.

But Karl -Anthony Towns had a great fourth quarter for the Timberwolves, ending with 27 points and 15 rebounds.

MAGIC 105, PISTONS 96: Nikola Vucevic had 37 points and 11 rebounds, Evan Fournier added a season high of 29 points and Orlando won at home.

Vucevic had his seventh 30-point game of the season, two days after his third career triple-double. Fournier hit a season high for the second game in a row.

THUNDER 117, CAVALIERS 101: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points and nine assists when visiting Oklahoma City and losing Cleveland for the tenth consecutive time.

Al Horford had 16 points and eight rebounds, and Hamidou Diallo scored 15 points off the bench for the Thunder, who went on a five-game losing streak and a three-game jump.

Collin Sexton scored 27 points and Jarrett Allen shot 11 for 11, ending with 26 points and 17 rebounds for the Cavaliers.

HAWKS 123, NUGGETS 115: Trae Young had 35 points and 15 assists, Clint Capela added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Atlanta won at home. </ The Hawks had lost five out of six and eight out of ten. The Nuggets lost six out of seven on the road.

Jamal Murray, who hit a career high of 50 points in Cleveland on Friday, led Denver with 30 points. Nikola Jokic, Will Barton and Monte Morris each scored 15 points.
