KATHMANDU: Nepalese mountaineers wrote a story in which they climbed Mount K2, the second highest mountain in the world, in winter.
According to Seven Summit Treks, Nepalese climbers reached the summit of 8,611 meters at 5 p.m. local time high mountain in Pakistan.
The climbers Nirmal Purja, Gelje Sherpa, Mingma David Sherpa, Mingma G. Sherpa, Sona Sherpa, Mingma Tenzi Sherpa, Pem Chhiri Sherpa, Dawa Temba Sherpa, Kili Pemba Sherpa and Dawa Tenjing Sherpa reached the Summit.
