A newborn baby died after unresponsive in the bathtub of a house in western Sydney.
Emergency services visited the Shalvey home just after noon on Tuesday after it was reported that a baby was no longer there responded.
The eight-week-old was rushed to Westmead Children’s Hospital in serious condition but could not be saved.
7NEWS believes a man came home and the little girl in the bathtub did not reacts more before discovering the desperate 35-year-old mother in the back yard.
« She was bubbly, she smiled, she always laughed, she was an adorable little one, » a friend told 7NEWS.
To be homicide detective subject the mother, who is currently in the hospital, to a mental health examination.
