Scott Parker insists that Fulham will fight and fight tonight to avoid relegation while visiting an out of shape wolf.
The Cottagers missed another chance to get out of the bottom three on Sunday when they suffered a 3-1 defeat at Aston Villa.
Fulham led 1-0 before conceding three goals in 10 minutes, while 17th place Newcastle United scored an important point against Tottenham thanks to a late equalizer.
« I’m delighted with that challenge, and the challenge we have before us, is seven games to put us in an incredible position, « said Parker.
« We will fight, scrap and do everything in our power to give ourselves a chance to stay in this division this season. »
« It would be an incredible achievement for the team and the football club, and that’s my only goal and I’m looking forward to it.
» I’m looking forward to it (challenge) and can’t wait until Friday . However, as it turns out, we’re moving on to the next and we’re still at it, and it’s going to be a year that will have been a year. « Journey, and hopefully a story to be told in the end. »
