World news – Police said Antifa rioters destroyed federal buildings in Philadelphia

A group of right-wing rioters in Philadelphia are charged with demolishing federal buildings on New Year’s Eve and leaving behind « anti-fascist graffiti, » police said.

About 50 people dressed in black came to Center City and defaced the historic US Customs House, Robert Nix Federal Building and Federal Detention Center late Thursday, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The federal prison on Seventh Street and Arch Street was « graffiti-related » by radical left protesters Antifa « destroyed, » Philadelphia Police Chief Mike Cram said Thursday.

The group hit windows and scribbled an anti-police acronym – « ACAB » (for « All cops are bastards ») – on you near you police said.

One of the rioters threw a brick through a window in the Robert Nix Federal Building, while others smashed other windows there and marked the exterior with graffiti, the investigator reported.

Some in the group were also found with « numerous Molotov cocktails » and other unidentified devices, Cram said.

Police said Adam McVicker, 25, from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, was seen throwing a brick through the building, where damage was estimated at about $ 3,000, WPVI reported.

McVicker has been charged with criminal misfortune and related charges, as has Allison Donohue, 23, of Wallingford, Pennsylvania; Josey Augustine, 31, of Royersford, Pennsylvania; and Dustin Callahan, 24, of Farmingdale, New Jersey.

Three other people were charged with attempted arson, catastrophe risk, arson and conspiracy. You have been identified by police as Jacob Robotin, 25, from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. Sydney Miller, 22, of Philadelphia; and 26-year-old Meredith Tooker, whose hometown was not provided, the investigator reported.

Police said Robotin had a green military-style backpack with a jar with a fuse that gave off a « strong, flammable odor » , reported WPVI.

Robotin’s bag also had a container of white powdery substance labeled « Fire Starter, » police said.

Miller, meanwhile, was arrested in possession of bottles of unidentified liquids, including some that had a « chemical » smell, reported the police.
