The Canisius Golden Griffins and Quinnipiac Bobcats meet in college basketball at TD Bank Sports Center on Friday.

Canisius sits at 3-3 a year. The Griffins have won two games against Saint Peter in their last two games. Quinnipiac is between 5 and 7 this season. The Bobcats are 2-1 in their last three and lose to Fairfield. Check back all season for free college basketball tips at Sports Chat Place.

Canisius didn’t get a chance to be on the court much this year. The Griffins parted company two games against Marist, then lost two to Monmouth and won a pair against Saint Peter. The last game, however, was on January 2nd; It’s been a while.

In the 63:60 victory against Saint Peter, Canisius’ Ahamadou Fofana led the team with 17 points and four assists and two rebounds. Malek Green was there in double digits with 11 points and five rebounds in 17 minutes.

On the Quinnipiac side, their season started 3-2 with wins against Fairleigh Dickinson, New Hampshire and Manhattan. The Bobcats then lost four games in a row before defeating Niagara again. Since then, it’s been a Sunday win and a Monday loss to Fairfield.

In the 77:70 loss to Fairfield, Quinnipiac’s Tymu Chenery was the leading scorer with 21 points and five rebounds in 28 minutes. Jacob Rigoni was also in double digits with 17 points, six rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes of work.

The Bobcats have 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Quinnipiac has played 2-5 ATS in the last seven home games against a team with a lost road record and in the last seven home games against a team with a lost road record 5-2 an ATS score of 1 to 4 against a team with a lost straight-up record and a 4-1 win in their last five games. The Under is 8-2 in the Griffins’ last 10 street games as well.

PICK: I’ll take Quinnipiac, but probably stay away. The Bobcats have scored pretty good scores over the past three years, each with 70 or more. As for the Griffins, it’s hard to tell what to expect as it’s been so long since they hit the ground. I think there will likely be some rust in the first half, which is a good opportunity for Quinnipiac.
