Marvel Studios « Avengers: Endgame » stars Marvel Studios President / Producers Kevin Feige, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo.

It’s been some time since fans flocked to theaters around the world to see “Avengers: Endgame,” but with Marvel’s “Phase 4” slowly starting up again at Disney Plus, and the one to come Film « Black Widow » the story of another superhero team-up is ongoing. How Marvel plans to top its Infinity Saga is an important topic of conversation, and some details may have leaked.

Twitter user « Main Middle Man » tweeted information about the MCU’s future plans for the Avengers, and it looks like it as if Marvel is considering expanding its universe even further.

According to the Main Middle Man tweet, Marvel plans to introduce a number of new Avengers teams to the MCU. There have been several iterations of the main Avengers team throughout comic book history, and there are many different subgroups of Avengers teams as well. So it makes sense to bring this term to the screen.

Sounds like Marvel Studios is working on further Avengers derivatives for the MCU. They are already preparing Young Avengers and are now focused on developing a West Coast Avengers project and returning to the Dark Avengers project.

The Avengers teams named in Main Middle Man’s tweet are Young Avengers, West Coast Avengers and Dark Avengers. Given the desire to use the Disney Plus streaming service to tell various side stories between major movie events, there appears to be room for the MCU to expand with multiple teams. Some of the heroes who were members of the teams mentioned in the comics may have already been featured in the MCU.

One of the first members of the Young Avengers was Elijah Bradley, the grandson of Isaiah Bradley. In the second episode of « The Falcon and the Winter Soldier », Sam Wilson / Falke (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) visit the elder Bradley and his grandson Eli. Young Avengers also include Cassie Lang, the daughter of Ant-Man, who has appeared in three Marvel films, and Kate Bishop, who becomes a younger version of Hawkeye. Hailee Steinfeld will play Bishop in the upcoming Disney Plus series « Hawkeye ».

The West Coast Avengers also have many familiar faces. The West Coast Avengers, the second official Avengers team to be formed in the comics, have been led by Hawkeye for most of their existence. Other well-known heroes who join the team include Vision, Scarlett Witch and Iron Man – but Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) death in « Avenger’s: Endgame » makes his involvement unlikely.

The Dark Avengers were created by Norman Osborn formed after a Skrull invasion, and we already have a growing Skrull presence in the MCU. John Walker (Wyatt Russell), who was introduced as the new Captain America in « The Falcon and the Winter Soldier », has been a member of the Dark Avengers for a while as a US agent.

Marvel was very successful in targeting audiences with individuals Capturing entries and slowly bringing a much larger master plan to market. Typically, the company already seems to know how to get into this plan for multiple Avengers.

The first step straight into the West Coast Avengers project will be Armor Wars. White Vision may return.

The second tweet from Main Middle Man indicates that the MCU will use the upcoming Armor Wars to get to the West Coast Avengers. Armor Wars was announced as the new Marvel series for Disney Plus in December 2020. It will revolve around James Rhodes / War Machine (Don Cheadle) and be guided by the question: « What happens if Tony Stark’s technology falls into the wrong hands? » According to Marvel.

The tweet also suggests that that Vision (Paul Bettany) might return, but it’s unclear whether the return would be for « Armor Wars » or as a member of the West Coast Avengers.

Now with a white exterior, Vision has been made by SWORD in « WandaVision ». With no prior memories or the humanity vision received through the Mind Stone, White Vision attacks Wanda Maximoff / Scarlett Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and the projection of vision she creates on the show. The projected form of vision passes on its memories and personality to White Vision, which then flies into unknown parts.

Although the version of Vision created by Maximoff on the show disappears with the removal of its spell, the events with White Vision suggest suggests that the character will in some ways return in the future.
