Ryan Reynolds celebrated St. Patrick’s Day this year with a drink and a green movie – with himself!
The 44-year-old saw his 2011 movie Green Lantern for the « first time » on Wednesday and tweeted live about the experience. He admitted, « I’ve only ever read my parts of the script, so it’s really exciting for me to see. »
« This protagonist seems ruthless but personable, » joked Reynolds – the one in the film who played Hal Jordan / Green Lantern – based on the DC Comics character – in another tweet.
He praised the cast (and joked that Ms. Blake Lively, whom he met while filming, was in the film was), made some good-natured cracks throughout the screening, promising not to drink his Aviation Gin to « numb any pain [he] might be in. »
