« Hollywood » star Samara Weaving has been cast to portray ex-Playboy Bunny Holly Madison for a limited TV series.
The Sony Pictures Television show is not yet networked, it is based on Madison’s 2015 memoir, « Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Alerts from a Former Playboy Bunny », according to TV Line.
« SMILF » Alaun Weaving, 28, takes on the role in a project that Synopsis says » goes beyond the polished facade of the Playboy brand to portray the visceral, often deeply damaging stories of women who came in after a dream and were machine-manipulated, controlled and abused. «
Madison was alongside Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt a star on the E! reality show « The Girls Next Door, » which recorded the exploits of several Playmates circling Hugh Hefner, who died in 2017 at the age of 91.
In her bestseller esp Madison avenged her first contact with Hefner. « I’ve never had a more disconnected experience, » she wrote. “There was no intimacy. No kissing, nothing. It was so brief that I can’t even remember what it felt like other than having a heavy body on top of mine. «
Australian writer Marieke Hardy ( » Last Man Standing « ) will adapt the book for television. Executive producers include Madison, Will Gluck from Olive Bridge Entertainment, and Richard Schwartz and Judith Verno from Peace Out Productions.
