Nic Lamb, a professional big wave surfer, grew up and has surfed in Santa Cruz, California his fifth year of life. The idea first came to him after wiping out surfing on the world’s biggest wave. Nazaré in Portugal. He had a severe concussion and suffered from migraine headaches for months after a concussion. While using ice packs, he wondered why there was nothing else out there.

A clip from his surfing days played on screen when Lamb presented his product and asked Robert Herjavec if it was real footage . Lamb shared his experience and said it was a six to seven story building. « It’s like NASCAR hits the ocean, » he said, letting all the sharks try it on. He asked for a $ 50,000 investment in return for a 10 percent stake in his business.
Kevin O’Leary had doubts as to whether it would survive in the market, but all of the Sharks seemed to love the experience to have it on your head. Is it growing hair? O’Leary joked. Even though Lamb stated that his product had three doors open? Hospital, exercise, hangover … Kevin disagreed with him. Many couldn’t stop laughing at Mr. Wonderful’s testimony.
When Lamb was talking about sales, he announced that he had sold 25,000 units and made $ 100,000. Mark seemed excited about the idea and said it made sense to use it instead of pouring water or laying a towel. Mark had his eyes on his Dallas Mavericks basketball team and quickly made an offer. $ 50,000 for 30 percent. When Lamb made a counter offer and asked, « Would you go to 25? » Mark immediately agreed.
The deal was closed, but other sharks weren’t very happy. « You didn’t want to hear my offer? » Daymond John asked angrily. Although Daymond made a better offer, Lamb said no. He turned down Daymond’s offer, saying he had already made a deal with Mark and that he had to stick to it.
