The Pittsburgh Steelers compete with the Cleveland Browns Sunday in the NFL AFC Wildcard Playoff from Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

Cleveland enters this AFC Wild Card Game after an 11-5 season. The Browns went 2-1 in their last three games, beating the Steelers by two points in week 17. Pittsburgh went 12-4 this season. The Steelers are only 1-4 in their last five games after losing to the Browns on Sunday. Check out NFL Chat on Sports Chat Place for free all season.

Cleveland made their presence known in troubled AFC North this season. The Browns ended the second half of the season 6-2, with a five-point loss to the Ravens and a seven-point loss to the Low Jets being the only mistakes. In week 17, Cleveland scored a 24:22 win over the Steelers.

In the win over Pittsburgh on Sunday, Brown’s quarterback Baker Mayfield put a TD on 196 yards and Rashard Higgins caught two balls for 55 yards. Nick Chubb carried the running game on 14 runs for 108 yards and one score.

On the Pittsburgh side, they started the year 11-0, but the wheels have since loosened. The Steelers lost three games against Washington 23-17, the Bills 26-15 and the Bengals 27-17. Pittsburgh won 28:24 against the Colts on December 27, but had to admit defeat against Cleveland on Sunday.

In the week 17 loss, Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph scored 315 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Chase Claypool had five catches for 101 yards and a TD, while James Connor had nine catches for 37 yards.

The Browns have 1-8 ATS in their last nine games against the AFC and 3-8 in their last 11 games total 8 ATS. Cleveland are 5-3-1 ATS in the last nine games in January and 9-25-1 ATS in the last 35 against AFC North.

Meanwhile, the Steelers have 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against the AFC and ATS 14-5-3 for the last 22 games in January. Pittsburgh has a total of 2-4 ATS in the last six games and 19-10-2 in the last 31 games against the AFC.

PICK: I’m going to bring Pittsburgh here. The Steelers rested quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and three other notable contributors on Sunday so you can make what you want of the loss. The truth is this is going to be a classic AFC Northern Battle, and you can toss the stats out accordingly. I think Pittsburgh seems like a better option for cover given their home advantage and the dynamism of returning starters. Still, none of these teams have been reliable lately. It is probably best to stay away from this game and just enjoy the show.
