KATHMANDU: Over 5 lakh- Supporters, including thousands from India, crowded into the legendary Pashupatinath Temple here in Nepal on Thursday for Maha Shivaratri.

The pilgrims were evenly spaced in the queues, putting on masks and disinfecting hands were mandatory.

« Arrangements were made so that visitors could see the presiding deity within half an hour, » the officer said.
