A young woman drowned and a man went missing after a night’s swim turned into tragedy.
The 29-year-old’s body was found by a passerby in the shallows of Broadbeach at around 10:15 pm on Thursday found on the Gold Coast.
CCTV cameras at the nearby Kurrawa Surf Club showed her and a man who went into the water late at night to swim.
Found in the Kurrawa Surf Club parking lot what they think is the man’s car.
A search on the beach has been unsuccessful and will start up at daybreak.
The woman was identified as a 29-year-old woman who was believed to be on vacation from Victoria, Queensland .
