On Saturday evening, O’Malley has the chance to get back on track by defeating the Brazilian Almeida. Almeida (22-4) who started his MMA career 21-0 is currently in a three-fight loss.

Since his loss in August, O’Malley has received negativity from some MMA fans online. But Sugar doesn’t worry about that as long as the fans are engaged with its content.
« I think there are the real Sugar fans out there, they listen to the podcast, they follow the Twitch, they buy my merch, the fan’s real show, « O’Malley Heavy said in a recent interview. « They say, » It’s okay, whatever happens, blah, blah, blah, you got this. «
» And then there are the occasional MMA fans who are just people who like to see how people fail who are usually insecure, anxious, depressed people. You don’t like confident people. You don’t like people like me. So you’re definitely in the comments and everything out there. «
» But really, the more comments the better, « O’Malley continued. » Negative or not, sponsors come up to me and say, ‘Hell, you get a lot of engagement, you get so many Comments. « They make me money at the end of the day. So I don’t mind. If I had to pick positive or negative content on my feed, it would of course be positive. But if it’s negative, I get paid anyway. It doesn’t play any. » Role. «
In his last three fights, Almeida has lost to Jonathan Martinez, Rob Font and Jimmie Rivera. In this fight, Sugar recognizes the high level of fighters who defeated Almeida, which is why he didn’t take the Brazilian lightly.
« He’s having a tough time, » said O’Malley. “This is an important fight for him. He loses that fight, he’ll likely get cut. So it’s a big fight for him.
« The guys he lost to are top guys, he doesn’t lose to bums. You know, I don’t really see him as a loser or an unworthy opponent. Me consider them a dangerous opponent who suffered three losses in particular. He’s extremely round. Good kickboxer. I think he’s a really good opponent. A good challenge for me. «
O’Malley expects that the fight is on his feet, but he is ready to use all of his mixed martial arts skills.
« I think it’s going to be a kickboxing war, » said O’Malley. « He probably thinks so too. I have haven’t seen many of his fights, I don’t think he’ll really come out and wrestle. I think it will be a kickboxing match.
« I’m prepared for an MMA fight. I’m grabbing, I’m having MMA round sparring with [people trying] to bring me down. I’m prepared for an MMA fight, I just think it will be more of a kickboxing match. «
When asked about his prediction of how the fight will end, O’Malley said, » I’m going to turn off his lights. I don’t know if it’s the first, second, third, but I’ll see myself extinguishing its lights. «
