Back to the Future is one of the greatest movie franchises of all time. The first film was released in 1985 with a budget of $ 19 million and had a huge impact on the film industry. The family-oriented science fiction film grossed over $ 388 million at the box office, making it one of the biggest films of the year. The series later released Back to the Future Part II and Part III, with Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd holding their roles as Marty McFly respectively. Doc Emmett Brown played again.
35 years after the film was released, Back to the Future is still one of the most popular film franchises in history.
Along the way, Fox has enjoyed talking about his time in the films, years after he quit playing the iconic role.
The actor most recently appeared on the Graham Norton Show to discuss his latest memoir: No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Looks at Mortality.
During the interview, the 59-year-old spoke openly about the enduring legacy of the Back to the Future series.

Norton asked Fox if he wasn’t recognized as the legendary Marty McFly somewhere.
The latest parody took place in Lil Nas X’s Christmas single, in which Fox re-enacted his role as McFly in the Old West version of Hill Valley.
The star then spoke openly about being diagnosed with Parkinson’s and how it had affected his optimism.
Fox said, « I’m famous for being optimistic – it’s sincere, but it can sound uncomfortable. « .
« I’ve had Parkinson’s for 30 years. I found this out and filled my life with joy and accomplishment, but when I got to my house for the first time after having spinal surgery, I slipped and shattered my arm.
« I was lying there thinking, » This sucks, I can’t give this a shiny face « and it really got me down. ”

Even so, Fox added, « I’ve been trying to figure out if this optimism thing is finite, and if it’s just a panacea that isn’t working for me. « .
“The long and the short is gratitude. When you find gratitude in every situation, optimism is sustainable. ”
Fans have been calling for a fourth Back to the Future for years, and earlier this year one of its writers, Bob Gale, told Express. co. Britain that this is not going to happen.
The author said, « You know, we kick around every now and then. But the bottom line is that Back to the Future is just not anything we want to see without Michael J Fox.
« I don’t think anyone wants to see anything. To create a future version of Marty McFly in which he suffers from Parkinson’s . . . that’s really not true. ”
