Cardiff City welcomes Luton Town to the Welsh capital, which is a huge game for the Bluebirds.

Neil Harris’ team is rolling at the foot of the championship table and desperately needs a win to climb the ladder.

The Hatters, managed by Welshman Nathan Jones, are undefeated in their last four league games, however.

By contrast, Cardiff have suffered three losses in their last five games and there is increasing pressure on the team and manager to get some positive results before the play-off spots are out of reach.

Collins pulls his shot well over the mark from the edge of the area. Smithies seemed to have it covered, however.

A spinning ball over the top of the defense falls friendly to Kieffer Moore, and the tall striker shoots him down and pounds a shot at goal with his left foot from close range, but a clever save with Sluga’s left foot denies him ! corner.

A long throw-in finds its way to the back post and Joe Ralls returns through the gate where Morrison is waiting. But the ball just bounces unkindly for him and a chance goes begging.

Bacuna is dropped off to Moore’s right before looking back and dismissing Harry Wilson. The winger hits a cross, but Moore and Harris are knocked to the ground and Sluga is able to hit away.

Harris tries to throw the ball over the defender and Moore manages to corner a corner.

Joe Ralls finds Morrison at the back post, but he can’t point his header at goal and it’s a goal kick.

Mark Harris tries his luck from 25 yards, but it is distracted widely. Another part of town. End-to-end stuff that!

Berry feeds Mpanzu in the box and the Luton man shoots on goal with his left foot, but Smithies knocks him over the post!

Excellent work by Sheyi Ojo in the lower left and Harris finds his cross, who controls the half volley wonderfully before calmly sliding into the corner. Great goal that!

A dangerous cross from Norrington-Davies, but Smithies commands and clears it, clearing Nelson out of the way.

The ball overturns any Luton defender, which is actually a fairly average defense against the visitors, and Morrison pokes home unmarked. As simple as that!

Harry Wilson pushes the ball into the channel on the edge of the box for Kieffer Moore, but the striker’s shot is deflected far away!

Luton breaks, and Bacuna would do well to stop Norrington-Davies’ drilled cross. A chance for the visitors there.
