Coronation Street star Colson Smith got together with his neighbors this week. The 22-year-old actor upset some residents near his home after failing to separate styrofoam from his cardboard boxes when he was clearing the recycling facility.
The soap star, who regularly delivers groceries every week, commented on an episode of the Sofa Cinema Club’s podcast.
He admitted he didn’t know he wasn’t recycling properly when he spoke to his co-stars Ben Price and Jack P Shepherd.
Colson said, « I can’t recycle my delivery boxes that I get every week because they contain styrofoam and ice packs.
« I just throw everything in one big box, recycle the other one, but throw everything else in one big box and put that in the trash can. «
The Craig Tinker actor said that when someone spotted the mistake, they separated the items correctly for them and left the empty boxes behind.
“Somebody fished all my trash out of the boxes and left the boxes. I really didn’t realize I was doing anything wrong, ”he said.
Colson went on with the story, adding, « But now the trash bins are locked so you can only put them in through the little mailbox. There’s a post on Facebook from someone who scolds the ruthless a ** A hole that ruined it for everyone else. ‘. This is me. ”
