Foodies have commented on the award for a Wagyu Burger that will be on display at Gordon Ramsay’s new venue in Harrods.
Gordon Ramsay will soon be giving guests a « fancy » version of burgers and hot dogs when his newest venue, Gordon Ramsay Burger, will be launched on Aug.. December opens its doors.
So far only in Las Vegas, Gordon Ramsay Burger promises an « experience like no other » in the posh Knightsbridge department store Harrods.
The menu features a ‘Wagyu Burger’ with beef patties, seared Wagyu sirloin, truffle pecorino cheese, cep mayonnaise and fresh black truffle for a whopping £ 80. But fries are extra – costing £ 6 for a standard serving of chipotle ketchup.
Fans of a more traditional “American burger” can buy something cheaper for £ 21, including beef patties, American cheese, butter lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion and burger relish.
Fans were quick to comment on the news when one user wrote, « My heart has melted. If my fortune is equal to your weekly salary, I would definitely come to London tomorrow to try this slice of heaven. « . «
With one more comment « I can’t wait to officially visit your restaurant after this Covid mayhem is over. «
In a statement, the celebrity chef told restaurant website Hot Dinners: « I’ve perfected burgers in America for years and now at Harrods we’re taking them to the next level.
« I guarantee that some of the most incredible ingredients from amazing UK vendors, producers, artisans and growers, all perfectly cooked and served with sensational sides, will be a burger experience like no other. «
