Late Heavy D convinced a large legion of fans with his loud personality and made a name for himself on reality TV Big Brother

Heavy D shaped the entertainment sphere with his bubbly personality and tongue in cheeky humor.

Celebrity Big Brothers Heavy D – real name Colin Newell – died at the age of 43, his friend has confirmed.

The larger than life reality star passed away this week after « disappearing » for a fortnight, as Mirror Online understands.

He became famous and garnered a legion of fans after performing as a buyer with the UK Storage Hunters.

Heavy D – who referred to himself as the « lovable villain » – knew he made a huge impact on the Celebrity Big Brother house after entering the reality TV world.

He always felt like it was his job to spruce up the house when Heavy D admitted to unwinding other people.

After his eviction in 2016, he said: « It was all good in taste. Otherwise it was boring. I just wanted to add a little spice to the house, spice it up.

« At first everyone was trying to find their feet so it was war, but when things calmed down it was cute. « 

Heavy D did not shy away from controversy while at the Celebrity Big Brother house.

The colorful character had a heated confrontation with Lewis Bloor after deliberately winding him up.
