Hughie Fury has vowed to take over the heavyweight division ahead of his fight against Polish giant Mariusz Wach on Saturday.
Fury (24-3, 14 KOs) meets Wach (36-6, 19 KOs) at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London, on the map of Anthony Joshua’s world title defense of the WBA, IBO, IBF and WBO -Belt against Kubrat Pulev, live on Sky Sports Box Office and DAZN.
In his last game in December last year, Wach fought Dillian Whyte for a competitive decision loss of ten rounds.
It gives Fury a chance to defeat a former world title challenger and he insists he will soon be fighting for the world title again.
« I think I’m ready for these fights. I am very confident and have worked hard. It’s going to be a good fight. Awake has not fought anyone like me yet and I’m looking forward to it.
“I can box him or take him out. I really believe in myself. The main thing is to get the victory and put on a show. I believe I belong on a world level and will take over. Mark my words, « said Fury.
Wach, who has faced the best opponents like Wladimir Klitschko, Alexader Povetkin, Jarell Miller and a few others in his career, is confident that he can handle Fury.
« I’ve made all of these opponents do it before. I’m in the best shape of my career and I’ll win on Saturday. It’s going to be a very difficult fight for both of us. The opponent is much younger and I’ll fight my way to the title. I want to stop him, « said Wach.
Elsewhere on Saturday’s bill, MTK Global teammates will collide when Kieron Conway takes on Macaulay McGowan.
Would be a pretty good win for Hughie, really.

Every time he showed up he looked like trash and failed. He just doesn’t hit hard enough to be respected in the heavyweight division. It’s a shame that it wasn’t a bit lighter and could do cruiserweight, it would be better suited there.
