Little Mix went to the Strictly Come Dancing floor on Sunday night, but one member was still missing.
Following in the footsteps of Broadway and West End star Marisha Wallace and British music legend Gary Barlow, the former X-Factor champions were the main guests on the semi-final results show.
Just before we find out which couple will be banned from the competition right before the finals, Little Mix wowed socially distant studio audiences and millions of home viewers with a rendition of Break Up Song, the first single from their latest album, Confetti, The End entered the charts at number 2 last month.
But just like their recent appearances on the Jonathan Ross Show and Children in Need, the band was a trio on Strictly with Jesy Nelson absent.
Fans raised concerns about Jesy after she pulled out of the finale of Little Mix’s talent show The Search and a spokesman for the band confirmed on November 17 that she would be taking time out.
The explanation read: “Jesy has extended Little Mix’s free time for private medical reasons.
« We will not comment further at this time and we ask the media to respect their privacy at this time. ”
Almost a month after its release, there is still no word on when Jesy, who won an NTA award for her mental health documentary Odd One Out earlier this year, will be returning to Little Mix.
She was spotted last week but has yet to say when she will be back.
The girls will tour the UK on their Confetti Arena Tour this spring.
