Phillip, 58, paid tribute to Young’s life and legacy, sharing an emotional statement on social media branding his friend as « kind » and « so talented. ». .
He said, “Heartbroken to hear about the death of Kate Young @katarinageo, who was one of my musical directors during my Joseph years.
A photo of the late music director accompanied the show and showed Young looking at the camera with a smile.

Phillip starred Joseph in 1991 and took on the role of Australian actor Jason Donovan in playing the biblical character.
