Sanjay Leela Bhansali announcing a movie is something we are all very excited about. While he is currently working on Alia Bhatt-Star Gangubai Kathiawadi, he has also announced his next project called Baiju Bawra.
About last year he made an announcement regarding the film, and since then there have been so many reports about the main character in the film. While recent news indicated that Ranbir Kapoor was approached to star in the film, he has something else to say.
In a recent interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir spoke about his upcoming projects, which include Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, Yash Raj’s Shamshera, and Luv Ranjan’s next untitled project. He also talked about never being offered Baiju Bawra, which ended all speculation. He said, « No, it’s a complete rumor. I was not offered a film by him. ”
But when he talked about the films he signed, he talked about the director’s signing of Kabir Singh, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming gangster drama which is now supposedly Animal. He said he would start filming in mid-2021 after finishing Luv Ranjan’s film.
