Tina Carter has explained her injuries at the time of the Ian Beale attack at the Vic in EastEnders.
Last week, several suspects were teased over the shocking attack that Ian carried out during most of Monday’s episode (Jan.. December) passed out.
However, one suspect was placed at the top of everyone’s suspicion when Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) broke into Ian’s house – and later showed up with blood on her hands and nose.
As a result of Monday (7. Tina panicked when she found out Ian had been rushed to the hospital, especially since she had previously left a voicemail for Kathy confessing that « something had happened earlier » to her and Ian.
Tina confided in Shirley that she actually had a fight with Ian that injured him – and he also drew her blood by hitting her.
« I didn’t mean to stand for it, so I went for him and he tripped and fell and hit the table, » she recalled.
As Tina recalled, Ian was « dazed » when she left his house but was concerned that he would collapse later when he returned to The Vic.
While Shirley (Linda Henry) was obviously concerned about the reveal, she tried to calm Tina’s nerves by saying that the injuries from the brawl probably didn’t cause Ian’s collapse.
« You let him breathe in the house, » she insisted. « As for others, you didn’t even see Ian Beale yesterday . . . You have to keep your head down, you see? And you cut your lip walking up the stairs after having a few.
The Carters struggled with uncertainty as Ian eventually woke up in the hospital. He tried to reveal the name of his attacker but fell back unconscious before he could reveal the answer.
Tomorrow night’s episode will contain bombshell scenes in which a Walford resident is arrested for Ian’s attack. But did the cops find the right person?
