There was a lot at stake in Ulster this year with a revamped All-Ireland championship, as Monaghan and Tyrone appeared on the first question in the competitive province.
And the teams responsible for these big talking points came out on the other side to meet in the playoff.
Cavan started the championship with an incredible overtime win against Monaghan in Clones and was busy beating Antrim before coming back from the dead again in the last four games to beat Down.
It was a little easier for Donegal to eliminate the Red Hands in the quarterfinals before knocking Armagh down early to secure their last spot.
The game will be on Sunday the 22nd. November at 4pm at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh.
It will be shown live on RTE and the coverage will be on RTE Two after the Munster football final.
