NEW DELHI: Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik arrived in Parliament on Wednesday to attend the ongoing session after more than two months when he was recovering from a traffic accident in January.

« Naik went to Delhi on March 14th to attend the ongoing session of parliament, » said a statement from Naik’s office on Sunday.

Naik had an accident of one type on January 11th Village in Ankola Taluk in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka and was admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). He was released from the hospital on February 24th.

Naik was accompanied by his wife Vijaya Naik and a personal assistant on the way from Yellapur to Gokarna, both of whom had died, during the accident.
