PIKESVILLE, Md (WJZ) – A fire broke out at Jilly’s Bar and Grill on Reisterstown Road early Wednesday morning, causing the building to partially collapse
A passer-by called the fire at around 4 a.m. and within minutes the Pikeville Fire Department and other local volunteer fire departments arrived to find an intense fire coming from the bar. the city of Baltimore has also answered the call

According to Lt Travis Francis, a second and third alarm was called shortly before 4.30 am due to the bulk of the fire and the fact that it was spreading to other adjacent buildings
The building collapsed, but no one was inside the building at the time of the fire and there were no injuries
Lt Francis said they had to assume that many buildings to the left of Jilly would at least take smoke and water damage The restaurant directly connected to Jilly has partially collapsed
Due to the fire, Reisterstown Road is closed between Church Lane and Hawthorne Avenue Drivers must avoid the area
