World news – University of Maryland Medical System Holding COVID-19 Webinar

Almost a year after the global pandemic began, the COVID-19 virus is still raging in our country. Next Monday, the University of Maryland Medical System will mark the day of Dr. Recognize Martin Luther King Jr. with a Nationwide Virtual Conversation on Zoom, where multiple medical experts discuss COVID-19 vaccine issues, concerns, and issues. « Finding Hope on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day – A town hall to understand the COVID-19 vaccine « is planned for January 18 from 11:00 to 12:00. The event is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required at www.umms.org/findinghope. The City Hall will also be broadcast live on the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/umdmedcenter.

Freeman A. Hrabrowski III, President of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and participant in Clinical Moderna -University of Maryland School of Medicine vaccine study will moderate the event.
