So I will use the things that I instilled in me and this is where it comes from . . . Also, that hunger and this drive to be one of the best players in the game. So he’s a bit of Avery Bradley and he’s just guys who are proud of guarding and I think beyond their size, they just have the talent and are proud I’m gonna stop you and I’m going to make my team stop and activate my team . . . I think that’s where the comparisons can come from.

« just the usual. Just trying to get to know me. Since you are watching the movie, you hear from the coaches doing research on your background and then as soon as they get a chance to see me, you see that is my right.. But it was just really general questions and they were trying to pick my mind and see what it’s all about and I’m all about winning. You know, the Boston Celtics have a history of winning, and that’s the kind that piqued these guys’ interest and we’ll see what happens..

“I think the most strange question is describing the people in the room. There were a lot of people in the room. A group of twelve people and it was just a matter of knowing if I was okay – one of them was a farmer, another guy was an ex-pro, another guy was just a random guy. . . . But, there were 12 people in there and I say, « We’re here to talk about basketball, we’re here to join your team. » . . . And you’re trying to figure out what three men look like alike and I’m like, “They all look like they’re farmers, but they all have something to do with basketball, so I guess they’ve all played pro . . . «  But it was weird to me because he was way out of the norm than everyone else, and that was pretty much it.

“The most common question I got was“ Is this really real? « They want to know and hear from me is this real. They want to know what they see and hear from the coaches, is that the truth. Who do you say you are and who do you think you are. And this is the thing that I’ve been hanging my hat on – Can you be a dog, can you go in and contribute, and my answer is definitely I can. I was built for it and obviously it will be some of the roles that I have to deal with and a lot of things will be different, but at the end of the day the basketball goal is to put the ball in the hole, bounce, defend and prevent the other team from scoring, it’s simple; And make the correct readings and things like that so that I don’t try to overthink or complicate them.

“I met Orlando Magic, The Clippers, Timber Wolves, Golden State Warriors, Memphis, and Charlotte. The Brooklyn, Rockets and many other teams are clearly on the list. There is a lot of m . . .

“This is the guy I’ll be looking at a lot. Young Jimmy Butler? The Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler with all the veterinarians on the Jimmy Butler team. We have progressed and I strongly believe that because of this hard work it paid off. There is no other choice. They keep talking about the three balls, but that intermediate level is the bread and butter. We are only working on all aspects of the game. And the thing that a lot of teams think I can’t do because I haven’t shown it is dribbling the ball, you know. She played a guard in high school.
