World News – US – OU Soccer: Darby Dean becomes the first woman to drive the Sooner Schooner

Darby Dean, a senior citizen, was the first woman in school history to drive the Sooner Schooner when she took the lead after a Sooners touchdown against Oklahoma State in the first quarter. The Sooner Schooner has been a tradition for 57 years and dates back to 1964.   ESPN's Holly Rowe spoke to Dean during the game. She also reported that Dean practiced driving the schooner 6 hours a week before debuting. "The most indescribable experience ever," Dean said to Rowe. "I wish I had words to answer the question, but I don't. It's just a once in a lifetime opportunity.
