At around 9 a.m. Wednesday night, officials announced that the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park was closed due to « significant » fire activity Residents of the Grand Lake area were told to evacuate at that time
Fire burns near Granby, about 100 miles northwest of Denver At a briefing Wednesday night, officials estimated the blaze had burned about 24,000 to 30,000 acres
