Tennessee gained just 71 yards in 39 games in the second half and finished with under-1 rushing yards on 27 attempts
“I think we have a team that is adapting well, so if someone gets us into trouble with something, we have answers,” said Smart “I’m proud of the effort they deployed in the second half with the momentum created by the defense «
This is the second time in three games that the Bulldogs have to come from behind to win, as they also followed Arkansas 7-5 before rallying to a 37-10 victory
Georgian quarterback Stetson Bennett had 16 of 27 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for a touchdown

Chaney is the coach that Georgia fans are most intrigued by, as he will call the games against a Georgian defense that leads the SEC in all major statistical categories
« He’s got a lot of stuff, (but) it’s not like he can run everything against us, » Smart said of Chaney, who served alongside him from 2016 to 2018 in Athens. « It’s basically, ‘What is he going to do and what is he going to do with it? What will he wear this game? and how we can adapt to it, quickly ’’
Tennessee took the lead over Georgia last season and led 14-13 with two minutes left in the second quarter at Neyland Stadium before the Bulldogs returned for a 43-14 victory
« Chaney has been against our defense for a very long time, Pruitt knows our defense, they know the ins and outs, » said Smart « But at the end of the day you have to block the person in front of you Tu gotta move some people You gotta hit them so they present a challenge to be able to run the ball

Georgia are ready to roll with former QB Stetson Bennett, who makes up for his lack of size and arm strength with mobility and moxie
UGA slots player Kearis Jackson made 9 catches for 147 yards last week, but George Pickens only had two receptions
Smart explained it wasn’t by design, and Pickens will be more involved in the game plan this week
