SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Due to a red flag warning and potentially strong multi-day winds in Santa Ana, over 95. 000 SDG&E customers may turn off power to avoid forest fires.
San Diegans in Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, El Cajon, Alpine, and Jacumba are just a few of the customers who may experience power outages.
SDG&E encourages all customers to prepare for this by keeping their phones fully charged and having enough batteries to power LED flashlights and portable radios.
