In an interview with Us Weekly Magazine, Kaitlyn Bristowe and boyfriend Jason Tartick discussed their goals and plans for the New Year. The former Bachelorette star told the outlet that she had both « mental and physical » goals this year. And then she shared something else.
« I want to feel strong to have a baby, » said Bristowe. “I want to start the new year with a healthy attitude. 2020 taught us to turn and overcome a lot and just have a good perspective on things. … I think a New Years resolution for me would just be to work on myself mentally and physically to feel strong and overcome whatever comes my way in 2021, « she added.
Bristowe and Tartick have been together for almost two years. The two met in early 2019 when Tartick came to Bristowe to watch an episode of their podcast Off the Vine. They had undeniable chemistry, and Tartick took the opportunity to ask Bristowe out on a date. The rest, as they say, was pretty much history.
The couple live in Nashville with their two rescue dogs, Ramen and Pinot. While the two are not yet fully engaged, Bristowe previously revealed that she and Tartick picked out her engagement ring. According to Us Weekly, the big reveal came during a Q&A on Instagram last summer.
« [It’s] the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in, and [getting engaged] just feels like the next natural step, » said Bristowe, exclusive to Us Weekly last month. « [But] I told him I didn’t want a quarantine engagement. [I want] a little more romance than just in the house, ”she told the point of sale.
Fans probably shouldn’t get too excited about a baby announcement in the near future. Bristowe and Tartick are still recovering after being diagnosed with COVID-19 just before the Christmas break. While both are feeling a lot better as they head into 2021, both Bristowe and Tartick have a few other goals they want to achieve before they add a baby to the mix.
Besides saying that Bristowe wanted to « be strong to have a baby, » Tartick told Us Weekly that he wants to focus on his mental health in the New Year.
« I think we always think New Year’s Eve is physical, how much weight are we doing? How do we work out? What is our body fat? And for me, I think I really want to focus on mental health. If you’re healthy, you have everything, ”Tartick told the point of sale.
Regardless of the timeline, it sounds like Bachelor Nation fans are getting some exciting news from these two lovebirds in 2021. Maybe this ring will show up too!
