World News – USA – CBS lost its booth in Alabama-LSU, causing Jamie Erdahl to step in

. . When CBS lost its Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson booth for some games on Saturday, Jamie Erdahl stepped in.

. .

It’s been quite a week in which programs have lost their announcers and side reporters. That first happened when Holly Rowe stood up for Dan Shulman and Jay Bilas at a WVU Gonzaga basketball game on ESPN Wednesday. We saw a similar situation on Saturday when Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson’s CBS booth briefly went off the air during Alabama LSU. Side reporter Jamie Erdahl stepped in to play a few plays. This is how it started:

This is a nice piece of work by Erdahl that you can fill out at short notice without any preparation. And although this stand failure did not last very long, it was still significant. And Erdahl did a solid job stepping into the breach and keeping things going until Nessler and Danielson could get back in the air.

Berry has said he has had only minor symptoms so far. We wish him all the best in his recovery.

« He’s running like one. . . how should I put it? He’s not a running back. He’s a quarterback who happens to run. «

« I have all the symptoms that you’ve read about for months. A throbbing headache that won’t go away. I can’t taste it. I can’t smell. «
