The NFL has a triple header on tap this day after Christmas, and the middle game of this three-game table is an NFC West showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals. Both teams should feel very comfortable at State Farm Stadium as the 49ers also referred to this stadium as their home stadium as COVID-19 regulations have forced them to move from their usual home in Santa Clara, California.

Avoiding a slip here is key for the Cardinals to win the playoffs by winning this competition and losing the Bears on Sunday, or by winning each of their last two games – this one and a week 17 matchup in Los Angeles against the Rams. Even though the 49ers are battered, Arizona can’t look past them for next week’s matchup as this could be a classic trap game if they don’t come out sharp.

The 49ers will get into this matchup until their third QB and also without their top RB and WR. Nick Mullens (elbows) and Raheem Mostert (ankles) were both put on IR and ended their season, while Deebo Samuel (thighs) will also miss the rest of the season, according to coach Kyle Shanahan. The only star the offense will have is George Kittle (Aug.. $ 200) who has missed the last six games due to a broken cuboid bone in his foot. However, he is expected to count quickly so it is not clear how much work he will be ready for. If he’s 100% a high-upside flier, he’s also at significant risk.

Kittle intercepts passes from QB C on the third string. J. . Beathard (9. $ 000), who turns 11. Career in the NFL will begin. He only went 1-9 on these trips with a 57. 8% completion rate and an average of only 6. 9 meters per attempt. He looked decent against the Cowboys last week after Mullens was injured, but his 100 yards, one touchdown and 8. 0 DKFP were all reinforced by a 49 yard hail Mary in the last second that didn’t affect the outcome of the game at all. Even in a cheap match against the Cardinals secondary school, Beathard is too expensive for me to trust given his track record.

We need at least a 49er though, and there are actually a few pieces that I think make sense. In the backfield was Jeff Wilson Jr. . ($ 3. 600) is a great value when it comes to getting most of the work out of Mostert. He has shared time with Mostert in the past few weeks and has at least 7. 9 DKFP in three consecutive games including 12. 0 DKFP last week in Dallas, his highest total since week 7 when he ran wild against the Patriots. Even though Tevin Coleman ($ 600), Jerick McKinnon (2. $ 400) and maybe even Kyle Juszczyk (1. $ 200) will bring some work from the background, Wilson should be the main option and be at a price so low that there’s no need to turn to Coleman unless you need to stamp a roster seat. If you choose to do it, Coleman has more advantages than most other players that are this cheap.

At WR, the 49ers also have a few options that are worth considering. Rookie Brandon Aiyuk (10. $ 000) will be the team’s top option, averaging 7. 8 catches for 90. 6 yards per game in his last five competitions. He was inundated with goals during this period as well, with double-digit goals in five of his last six games, including a 16-goal monster game against Washington that resulted in 10 catches, 119 yards, and 24. 9 DKFP. It’s an expensive piece to be sure, but it was involved enough to be worth considering. Kendrick Bourne ($ 7. 400) had a large 18. 6-DKFP game last week, but that sum is also being inflated by that meaningless Hail Mary. Instead, I would rather Richie James (2. $ 600) as a value game as it should be regularly used in three WR sets and scored seven goals last week, compared to just four for Bourne. James has shown that he can thrive if relied on and produces 36. 4 DKFP against the Packers earlier this season and I think he has a very good advantage for that salary against Arizona.

Kittle’s return to TE makes it for Jordan Reed (Jan.. $ 600) a little hard to figure this out, but the veteran TE has hit the end zone for a modest mileage in two of the past three weeks. He doesn’t have the odds of James and Wilson being cheaper, but he could be a solid value game if Beathard relies on him in the red zone.

If you’re not at all fond of the 49ers’ offensive options with Beathard, you can always skip to the 49ers daylight saving time (3rd. $ 000) as your only game to switch from San Francisco. The unit has forced multiple sacks and eight turnovers in four of the last five games. You had a big game against the Rams a few weeks ago but you are definitely injured. Robbie Gould (3rd. $ 200) is also a cheap 49ers game well worth a look as it has at least 7 DFKP in four of its last five games and continues to be a very reliable option in kick game. Gould’s only concern is that Beathard’s version of this offense may not give him many scoring opportunities.

The Cardinals have been one of the most exciting offenses this season. Kyler Murray (12. $ 800) continued to develop and flourished with his new WR DeAndre Hopkins (11th. $ 600) as an option. Murray averages 27. 6 DKFP per competition and reached a season high of 406 yards with three touchdowns and 38. 14 DKFP last week against the Eagles. Murray averages 259. 8 meters past and 52. 9 rushing yards per game and 11 touchdowns in addition to his 26 temporary touchdowns. He and the Cardinals had a very different, much healthier 49ers team in Week 1, and in that game Murray had 27. 3 DKFP. He’s definitely proven to be one of the best fantasy QBs in the entire NFL and can be the center of your lineup if you can get his hefty salary to work.

Hopkins is a great producer and fantasy star again this season who quickly settled in his new home with his new QB. Hopkins averages a whopping 9. 9 goals per game and has at least eight catches in each of his last three games. He had nine catches for 169 yards and the game-winning touchdown last week to finish at 34. 0 DKFP. He didn’t make it to the end zone in his previous matchup with the 49ers, but still had a formidable day with 14 catches, 151 yards and 32. 1 DKFP.

While Hopkins is clearly the best option for catching passports, Christian Kirk (6. $ 600), Larry Fitzgerald (5. $ 000) and Dan Arnold (4th. $ 400) strong games at different times this season. Fitz is classified as questionable with a thigh problem but was able to practice on Thursday. When he does play, he is likely the safest game in this group, though Kirk discovered an intriguing potential for deep threats. Andy Isabella (1. $ 600) is a flier to watch when Fitz is inactive, but he’s been a healthy inactive for the past two weeks. At TE, Arnold is also in doubt because of a previous issue that might make things interesting, as backup TEs Darrell Daniels ($ 400) and Maxx Williams (2. 000 US dollars) are also questionable in the case of thigh and ankle injuries. Before kick-off, check the Inactive to see if there is any value available, even though Arnold was productive enough to touchdown up to see if all three are able to adjust.

Another Cardinals injury is Chase Edmonds (5. $ 600) which is questionable due to ankle and knee problems. Edmonds has worked its way to 15 on its way to 15 more than one receiving option lately, with multiple catches in eight consecutive games and 11 transfers. 6 DKFP. If Edmonds fails, the Kenyan Drake (9. $ 200) a much better game as it has all of the workload. However, when Edmonds is healthy he is the better game because of his constant PPR production and much cheaper salary. Drake is touchdown dependent as he doesn’t catch as many passes but has found the end zone five times in the last five games.

The summer time of the Cardinals (4th. $ 800) doesn’t have their biggest star in Chandler Jones and has just lost Dennis Gardeck (knee) who helped fill in after Jones’ injury. However, when compared to a third-string QB, they are a very solid value option. Last week they had six sacks, one security and 10 DKFP against the Eagles after forcing three turnovers of eight sacks and 18 DKFP against the Giants. I love their perks here and think you could even build a line-up with them as a captain’s pick if you let the 49ers offense fade and succeed.

The Cardinals can’t overlook the 49ers as it is critical to their playoff hopes that they don’t get caught looking ahead. However, with such a low-injury squad, it’s hard to see that San Francisco has what it takes to overcome that surprise in its home. The Cardinals have the two obvious Captain’s Pick games too, and of the two megastars, I think DeAndre Hopkins ($ 17. 400 CP) is the better game. However, if you want a more balanced look, Jeff Wilson Jr. . ($ 5. 400 CP) has a ton of advantages as an affordable Captain’s Pick game. The Cardinals Daylight Saving Time (7. $ 200 CP) could also be hit with a big game or two and should be in a good place to dominate Beathard and San Francisco’s low-injury offense.
