The couple lost touch after Ana worked on Dayton’s campaign, but they met again in Minneapolis a few years ago, he wrote, adding, « The rest is a happy story. ”

Dayton, whose family founded the Dayton department store chain, now the Minneapolis-based Target Corp.. . has been married twice, first to Alida Ferry Rockefeller in 1978, and they divorced in 1986.
